Join our team
Procurement Manager
You are proficient in supporting clients with supply chain development, planning, implementation and execution of procurement strategies for global offshore wind projects.
You are highly skilled in sourcing and therefore indispensable to the team of commercial, technical and legal professionals that ensures projects run smoothly from A to Z.
You create the buying strategy in which you match the necessary supplies with the available budget and find matching vendors. Finally, you usually lead a team of buyers.
This specific role focuses on the procurement management of a major offshore wind project in Taipei. You will be involved with the ongoing development, growth and success of Taiwan’s exciting offshore wind industry and therefore in the global energy transition.

Responsibilities
Planning, implementing and executing procurement and/or tender strategies;
Drafting and negotiating contracts;
Leading and coordinating commercial, technical, financial and legal expertise;
Ensuring compliance;
Actively pursuing and securing the maximum value in terms of quality, price, and schedule;
Leading and executing the complete procurement process;
Stakeholder engagement; and
Finalising contracts and ensuring that the procurement process is executed following client policies and procedures and properly documented.
Requirements
A technical or legal background with 5+ years relevant working experience within the field of offshore wind or other energy/infrastructure projects;
A technical or legal background with 5+ years relevant working experience within the field of offshore wind or other energy/infrastructure projects;
First-hand industry knowledge and experience working with offshore foundation supply, and transport and installation contractors;
Proficient in commercial tender negotiation and understanding of project phases, typical stakeholders and the scope of work involved with infrastructure projects;
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation associated with construction projects;
Experience with quality standards and contract management;
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Contract Manager
You support our clients with tender and contract management, claims management and dispute resolution. You prepare tenders and negotiate contracts throughout the development and execution of the project, provide interpretation, and organise and manage correspondence with contracting parties.
You work closely with the project management team. You know how to balance risk with reward and come up with creative solutions that are commercially and contractually viable.
Finally, you manage the commercial relationship with contractors ensuring that any issues are dealt with swiftly and proactively.
This specific role pertains to the contract management of the balance of plant (BoP) package of a major offshore wind project in Taiwan. You will play an important part in the development of Taiwan’s exciting offshore wind industry and therefore in the global energy transition.

Responsibilities
Owning and running the tendering process in cooperation with the Package/Project Manager and Engineering;
Being responsible for the tender strategy and ensuring it is aligned with the overall Package/Project Procurement Strategy;
Being responsible for the commercial part of tenders, including conditions of the contract and the tendering process;
Engaging with Package/Project Managers and Engineering team members to ensure that tender and contract terms match scope and deliverable requirements;
Assessing and benchmarking tender offers;
Leading the negotiations team during negotiations with bidders; and
Engaging with Legal when needed on tendering and contract issues.
Requirements
A technical or legal background with 5+ years relevant working experience within the field of offshore wind or other energy/infrastructure projects;
Hands-on experience as contract/commercial manager during development and construction phases of projects in excess of €50 million, FIDIC-based contracts, and technical understanding;
First-hand industry knowledge and experience working with offshore foundation supply, and transport and installation contractors;
Proficient in commercial tender negotiation and understanding of project phases, typical stakeholders and the scope of work involved with infrastructure projects;
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation associated with construction projects;
Experience with quality standards and contract management;
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; and
Willing and able to be based in (or move to) Taiwan.
